Dermatology Certified Medical Assistant- FTE

JOB SUMMARY: Fast paced, high demand clinic looking for a full-time, energetic and positive assistant that has the ability to multi-task, take guidance/direction well and provide excellent follow through and patient care. Position will float amongst both clinic labs and assist all physician's direct assistants with facilitating efficient clinical flow. Primary duties would include escorting patients, stocking and cleaning exam rooms, assisting in procedures and ordering supplies. When time allows, notify patients of biopsy and lab results, follow procedure for instrument cleaning and sterilization, notification of supply shortages, and other tasks as communicated by Medical team assistants and Supervisor.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS: High School Diploma required, MA certification and two years' experience in Dermatology clinic preferred, two years in a medical practice setting required. Schedule is not negotiable; must want to work fulltime (Monday-Friday.)

SKILLS/ ABILITIES: Must have proven excellent communication skills, good problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to work as a team member, well organized with great attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, empathetic with patient needs and concerns, highly flexible and adapts to change quickly, ability to work well with physicians, anticipating their needs in regard to patient treatment, and treat patients and co-workers with respect at all times.

PHYSICAL RQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, Manual dexterity to assist in surgery, reach with hands and arms, sit/stand for long periods of time, and able to talk to hear, see, stand, walk, bend, squat, and type.
