Dr. Bell is a retired Portland dermatologist who sometimes substitutes for dermatologists at the Portland Dermatology Clinic. Before his retirement in 2006 he practiced dermatology for many years at the St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland. He is originally from Oklahoma and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Medical School. He did his internship and dermatology residency at the Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland and has been involved in the dermatology clinical teaching program there for many years. He is currently an emeritus clinical professor at OHSU and is a recipient of their Meritorious Achievement Award for Clinical Faculty. He is a past president of the Oregon Dermatology Society and a diplomate of the American Boards of Dermatology and Dermatopathology.
Dr Bell has lived in downtown Portland since his retirement and enjoys auditing courses at Portland State University as well as spending time with family and friends.
